Jesmond Central is pleased to introduce the Careers Centre, a new initiative designed to connect local job seekers with employment opportunities available within the centre. The Careers Centre will provide retailers with an additional platform to promote vacancies, increase visibility of employment opportunities and connect with potential candidates from the local community.
As part of this initiative, retailers also have the opportunity to engage with participants from our growing Monday Meet Up youth program. By donating light refreshments and spending time speaking with attendees during a session, retailers can build awareness of their business, connect with local young people and develop relationships with potential future team members. With many retailers preparing for the Christmas casual recruitment period, Monday Meet Up provides a unique and informal environment to meet prospective candidates while supporting a valuable community initiative.
